Clubaroo is a fixture management platform for junior rugby league clubs. This privacy policy explains how we handle data in our web portal and mobile app.

Data We Collect

Mobile App

Favourite selection — the club and team you choose to follow. Stored locally on your device.
Push notification token — a device identifier provided by Apple or Google, used solely to deliver fixture update notifications. This token does not identify you personally.

The mobile app does not require an account, does not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal information.

Admin Portal

Email and password — used for club administrator authentication.
Club data — teams, competitions, fixtures, grounds, and seasons managed by club administrators.

How We Use Your Data

Display fixture information relevant to your selected club and team.
Send push notifications when fixtures are updated (date, time, ground, or status changes).
Authenticate club administrators to manage their club data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. Push notifications are delivered through the Expo Push Notification Service, which processes device tokens solely for delivery purposes.

Data Storage

Mobile app preferences are stored locally on your device.
Push notification tokens and fixture data are stored on our servers hosted in Australia.
Admin credentials are encrypted and stored securely.

Your Choices

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
You can change or remove your favourite team selection in the app settings.
You can use the app without selecting a team — no data is sent to our servers in this case.

Children's Privacy

Clubaroo is designed for use by parents, players, and club administrators of junior rugby league. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
